| José Viruete has been dedicated to cultural dissemination for 25 years, and in 2002 he inaugurated Viruete.com, one of the most popular pop culture websites in the country, and he never looks back. Since then he has started working for media such as Telecinco, Cinemanía, JotDown, Popular 1, Canal Plus, El País or El Diario.es among many others. He is the author of the book Terror bajo las aguas (2009, Dibbuks) about underwater monster films, as well as contributor or prologue writer in a lot of other books, studies and comics.
In 2006 he created one of the first podcasts in Spain on the same website, and in 2013 he co-founded Campamento Krypton, a benchmark for cultural dissemination in the country's podcastile scene. His success means that his presence is frequently requested by media such as Radio 3, La Cope and Cadena Ser, among others. And he still finds time to play role-playing games from time to time and collect Furbys. |
