Carlos Cornejo: virtual reality has a Spanish accent
Virtual reality is one of the most cutting-edge technologies today. It may seem that it is a foreign product and that everything that can reach Spain is for export.
However, we have home-grown tech talent that, in fact, claims to be able to make magic with VR.
Carlos Cornejo, lead game designer at Odders Lab, a development studio in Seville, comes to the OXO Talks to tell us the trick with which he can make such a claim.
His career in the industry began in video game development in 2015 with the publication of BlindTales: Audio Adventures, while he was finishing his studies in Computer Engineering.
In 2019, he joined the Malaga-based studio Silent Road Games, a job he combined in 2020 with teaching part of the game design course at the Aula Arcade academy in Seville.
From 2021 he joins Odders Lab where he develops VR games and from one of the leading Spanish studios on the national scene.
